From a village in the Pyrenees foothills in the deep southeast corner of France comes a mid-weight, ripe and pleasant red with a certain roundness and ripeness typical of the hot Roussillon region. Look for generous if soft aromas of blackberry, plum, violet and pepper. It is quite smooth with some alcohol heat and fine tannins. The length is very good.
