80-year-old vines grown on clay soil which gets the afternoon sun, 13.5% alcohol, 100% whole bunch and 25% new wood. Another dense crimson-purple colour. The bouquet has more of a fruit compote style. You can see the stems, but they are more hidden in the fruit. There is a substantial mouthful of plummy dark raspberry, good oak integration, plenty of spice and excellent persistence.
